بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ٱلْقَارِعَةُ.
The (Day) of Noise and Clamour:
101.2

مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ.
What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour?
101.3
3
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ.
And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is?
101.4
4
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ.
(It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about,
101.5
5
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ.
And the mountains will be like carded wool.
101.6
6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ.
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy,
101.7
7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ.
Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
101.8
8
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ.
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,-
101.9
9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ.
Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
101.10
10
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ.
And what will explain to thee what this is?
101.11
11
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ.
(It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
