بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ.
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!
111.2
2
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ.
No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!
111.3
3
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ.
Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!
111.4
4
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ.
His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!-
111.5
5
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ.
A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
